Description
Here's one of those artist trading card things.
I've had them for a while now, and wanted to try
something simple. I practiced drawing the four main
ninja from NinjaGo in different colouring styles. Here
is the Copic version; Jay.
I've finally got that look I was trying to get
with shadows and such for a while now!
Yeah, it only took me five months, and many
attempts to finally realize that I can layer the
markers like crazy!
Other than the dark eyebrows and eye,
I actually like the light effect I recreated
with this. I was trying to get this effect
for a long time! So please; tell me what
you think! Is there anything that I need
to improve here?
Enjoy~

This is an outstanding piece of artwork.
I love the way you used a blue to make shadows, and where the shadows are placed makes it have a reality feel.
The colors are a bit dull, but not every piece of art needs to be bright. The Coptic markers blended very well in this piece, and I see no pencil lines (if you used pencils in the first place, of course).
The fact that you only see half of his face is interesting, and makes you wonder what Jay is up to. I have seen too many pieces of art where you see the face or body smack in the middle of the picture.
Overall, very well done.
