Acrylics/mixed media on a (very small) 5"x7" canvas board...

Here is Nebel selling his soul to the lord of the underworld; Garmadon.
This was just after he betrayed his master; Sensei Wu, three years ago...

This is some Nebel fanart for uni416; who has
made countless amazing artworks of my OC!

Hope you like it! :)

I'm going to be painting a lot next semester; so critiques on
my painting techniques are welcome! (Yes, you may be harsh)~ :meow:

Enjoy~ :aww:

When I first opened this, the first thing I thought was "This thing is absolutely beautiful!", so, it's really very beautiful and excellent. I find it really amazing that you did it on canvas. Good job for this entire thing, because I love it!

Personally, I find that this really has enough colour. The dark background really gave off the feel that it was a kind of hellish, dark place. His expression really fits in as well.

I like how you can see the flow and movement of the brush, creating a nice effect for everything, especially the hair and tears. (please tell me those are tears)

The shading, I find, is also very well done, and like this it's quite easy to tell where the source of light is coming from. And the light in his eyes also adds to the feel.

The thing that puts this off is the proportion of Nebel. The way you drew/painted his right shoulder makes it a little hard to see the depth. And if I see that arm, it looks as if his right shoulder to his elbow is a little too short.

I think that's all I have to say for this. This is really very excellent, and fanart on canvas! It's very lovely. I really really hope to see more of your paintings in the future! /o/
